

2007 River Cleanup
in Lumpkin County on the Chestatee and Etowah rivers:
Saturday
October 6 or 20 (9 AM to 3PM)
Sponsored by the World Class Learning Alliance (worldclass.net) and Lumpkin Coalition (lumpkincoalition.org)
Rules:
Children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one adult. Every adult must sign a waiver. Bring your own canoes to
help facilitate the clean-up and share a meal with us after the clean-up: prepared by Revival Gardens Organic Produce on Oct 6 and Lumpkin Coalition on Oct 20. And don't forget your free t-shirt!
Directions
to the Rendezvous on October 6 : take hwy 52 from Dahlonega about 3 miles and take
a right on Siloam Church Rd; go 1.9 miles and take a left on to Rider Mill Rd,
go 0.2 miles and take a left on to Tom Bell Odom Rd. and follow to the river. (see map on revivalgardens.com)
Directions to the Rendezvous on October 20 Take hwy 52 from Dahlonega about 3.2 miles and veer left on hwy 9 (Dawsonville Hwy) On the left one mile after crossing over the Etowah river bridge bridge.
